About The Speakers
Martin Holste is FireEye’s Chief Technology Officer for Cloud. He is responsible for shaping the company’s cloud security offerings, developing the corporate cloud security strategy, and working with customers to help secure their cloud workloads. Martin lead the team that built FireEye’s cloud-based Advanced URL Detection Engine and founded the cloud-native Helix Platform. Before FireEye, Martin spent most of a decade in penetration testing, incident response, and threat hunting while serving as the Incident Response Team Lead for the State of Wisconsin. Martin is a regular contributor to FireEye blogs, webinars, and eBooks. He is a frequent guest on panels and podcasts and has presented talks on serverless Big Data solutions, cloud security, and security investigation cognitive strategies.
Frank Balonis joined Accellion in July 2003 and is responsible for technical support, customer success, and corporate IT. In addition, Frank oversees corporate security and compliance and works with the Product and Engineering teams to ensure Accellion’s software and services meet the needs of its customers. He has over 20 years experience in IT Support and Services. Prior to Accellion, Frank held senior engineering positions with Prexar, Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation and Varian Semiconductor.
Frank is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Scott Ward is a Principal Solutions Architect with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Based out of Seattle, WA, Scott is part of a team that supports AWS’s global network of technology and consulting partners. Scott’s focus is on security technology partners and his work with partners includes existing AWS architecture validation and improvements, planning new architectures for workloads on AWS, providing guidance on how to use new AWS services, and providing general technical enablement. In addition to a focus on AWS cloud security Scott has a deep background in supporting, enhancing, and building global financial solutions to meet the needs of large companies, including many years supporting the global financial systems for Amazon.com.
